ReplyDeleteThey're lovely and the seeds seem to be carried around by the cattle or birds so they can appear anywhere along that part of the footpath. Sadly the cattle often trample on them, which is sad !
DeleteWhat a beautiful colour.I much prefer the wild ones to the potted varieties ! Years ago we found some orchids growing in the sand dunes at Holkham, wonder if they are still there ! Lovely gallery to view ....June's getting closer !!! Looks as though they had a super weekend for the gig championships,so pleased for them all, must be a wonderful sight. Thanks Sue.macca.
ReplyDeleteWe love to go hunting for the Orchids at this time of year - but I think that most of them will be late this year.
DeleteI'm starting to panic about Scilly - not that long to go and I haven't started to get ready yet !
A fine weekend for the gigs and even the Sailing Gig Race should be good today. So pleased for them. SCIII is on another double sailing and it's looking fairly calm out there ! Sue
We listened to Radio Scilly and the commentary from the gig races. It was great fun listening. They have put lots of photos up too. We'll be over there in the beginning of July again. Can't wait.

10th June is our start date and I'm in a right old panic ! No dog food ordered yet !

I hope that the others are just late due to the weather and not totally trampled by the cattle ! We'll just have to wait and see !
