Beautiful! What a lovely gallery of places we know so well,my aunt lived at Illogan and we stayed often(on the way to Scilly)I first went to Newquay in the late fifties, always fascinated by the island, saw it featured in a property programme it seems to have taken a long time to sell. What a storm you had! very windy here today, the grass is a carpet of apple blossom. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!!!macca.
ReplyDeletePity it was so cold when we were at Newquay - wind from Northerly direction and the sea was still quite disturbed. We always get lost in in the town- all the one-way streets make it tricky.
DeleteAlways sad to see the blossom come off before it should - can be quite slippery on footpaths
Very calm here this morning, sadly that tends to mean that any showers will stay around for a while ! Sue
