Weather deatils from Lands End Weather & the met office

The met office rainfall radar showing the lovely clear and calm "eye" as we set off on our walk
That was the largest gust of wind whilst we were out - I suspect we were  sheltered from the worst of it at the time
and just after we got home  Phew !
We've got a couple of broken branches on the Cedar Tree, but no other damage that we've found at the moment !

  1. Wow! Earlier I had a look on the Scilly photos and videos and they certainly had the storm too. We've had a little rain today but no wind. I wonder if we will get it next? Hope your little palm that Jim put the bracket on has survived.

  2. Yes, Scilly got it bad as well !
Will have to do a proper check on the palms etc in the morning.
Looks like you might have showers, but the dreaded swirly cloud will head off North East.
We should have a better if still windy day tomorrow. Sue

  3. We did get the wind all last night but as far as I am aware no damage done. It's still blowing now.

    1. Just checked the little palm and it's still standing,- leaning a little so needs a bit of adjustment on the ropes keeping it upright.
