Spotted these two little chaps playing on the far end of the drive - where it meets the field
Ooh - err ! I think he spotted me !
Perhaps not - although he did keep looking my way.
The last time we had Fox cubs in this spot, the naughty builders kept feeding them bits of their sandwiches and they wouldn't go away - and as one of them matured it kept leaving us delightful messages all around the outside of the house - to mark his territory I suppose !
Then Mum called him home for tea !
Great shots Sue
ReplyDeleteJust as well we had the windows cleaned last week !
DeleteHi Sue, what a great set of photos of the fox cubs.
ReplyDeleteKnow what pests they are but they are so gorgeous!
Love to see them when they're young - but hate what they do in a hen house etc. Hope these don't hang around for long - they are surrounded by bunnies so they should thrive, but most of the adult ones we see are skinny and mangey. Wooster & Tilly will be watching out for them I'm sure.
DeleteWe had a fox in our garden last night with no brush he was so mangey. It's such a shame they get like that.
ReplyDeleteThe foxes do seem to get serious Mange - we saw a pregnant female a few weeks ago that looked really bad - trouble is that they pass it on to the dogs. The drops that the vet supplies for fleas/ticks etc now have treatment for Mange in there.
DeleteThe youngsters do look very sweet and I expect they will be visiting again !Sue
They really are pretty and playful, but it does seem that the adults look so mangey. Saw one visiting a friend's garden in Mawnan that looked scrawny and very moth-eaten.
ReplyDeleteYes the adults are rather a sad sight - we're always amazed that they often look hungry & scrawny when they have bunnies galore all around them !
