A forest of Foxgloves to brighten yet another fairly wet day. Yesterday it just rained for most of the day - today it started about 10 minutes into our walk - we carried on round The Garrison and down into Hugh Town then back to our room to dry out ! It eventually stopped and we took the dogs out again and the sun was trying to appear - but didn't - only  2 more full days to go and we still haven't been off Island. Should only be showers tomorrow, so might take a chance ! I know we should be more daring and go and walk in the rain, but having seen the Islands in such beautiful conditions before it doesn't really appeal !

    1. It could have been a lot worse - We got out walking on all but one day - but did get5 wet a few times - last few days were much better - but still windy, Glorious today - when we had been forecasted to have rain for most of the day - we had a nice calm trip back on Scillonian III and have just had to cook our own dinner ! ! !
