After yesterdays rain and wind today started out rather cloudy and still very windy, but after breakfast the clouds started to clear off towards the mainland, so off we went to walk out to Juliets Garden !
After  a stop on the way to chat to Robin Mawer who's photos I often use and who often has to correct my terrible bird identification we reached the tea garden and  just had to stop off for a coffee - we then continued up this side of St Mary's which has such a superb view across to Bryher, Tresco and St Martin's.
As you can see, it was still  very windy ! Here is Firethorn making a splash with the two people right at the front getting rather wet !  Fortunately with the sun shining it didn't feel too cold - although it was still a thin fleece day !
and Ambulance boat Star of Life speeding back to St Mary's from St Martin's
