When we got homeI took a wander around the garden - the Libertia are still looking lovely although some of them are finished
The Pinks are looking super on the raised bed above the lawn (and weeds !)
and there's an Echium "forest" under the Pine trees - there's quite a lot of other plants under there - hope they're OK

  1. Your garden is looking great, everything later coming into flower this year, but worth waiting for. Have the Echiums seeded themselves there under your trees????? they will look beautiful when they all come into flower.

    1. Everything really is late, but seems to be better than usual ! The Echiums are all self seeded, some will probably not make it through to flowering - the winter winds often knock them over once they get tall. There are Echiums on the footpath below as well - think we will have to trim off some leaves or they'll have to go !

  2. Echiums do tend to take over and tower over everything. Ours bloomed in May, and are now green spiky seedheads.

    1. Nice to think you have them over there- I know they're not native, but we love them. Ours are almost finished flowering - the "forest" should flower next year as this is their second year - if they make it through the winter
