Pretty mystery plant growing on the garden wall of The Victoria
I gather from Trixi that it is  cymbalaria muralis, ivy-leaved toadflax - many thanks Trixi.

  1. Good morning Sue, this is cymbalaria muralis, ivy-leaved toadflax, in Germany its name is Zimbelkraut. My mother loved it and used to put little pieces of the plant in her pocket when she made a trip to unknown places. When she found a suitable crack in a wall she stuck the offset into the crack. Maybe there are a few people who like to do the same.
Thanks for your wonderful pics, yours Trixi

    1. Morning Trixi, Thanks for the plant name - just noticed it as we walked past - what a lovely thought to think that your mother has spread so much around to give pleasure to others.
If I was a little taller I could have got a better shot. Many of the granite walls are looking beautiful with Campanula which grows in a similar manner in the cracks and joins - the colours go so well together. Sue
