PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Since it was still windy and rain was expected we walked back up to the far end of St Mary's and started where we left off yesterday. Here we are looking over what's left of The Bar at the moment
This is the Upper Chamber  of theNeolithic or early Bronze Age  Innisigden Burial Chambers

  1. Such mysterious places! How isolated those people must have been in hose days. Wonder if they went island hopping?

    1. I think that the thought is that the sea level was much lower way back then and that the people could therefore move about more freely. Went past another chamber today that we hadn't seen before.
