The Libertia are really looking super by the path to the garden gate
Thought I'd take a few photos of the lovely flowers in the garden as they will probably be finished byt the time we get home.
Can't remember what this is called - and I'm sure someone will tell me ! The leaves & flowers are similar to a Lupin - Lupinus angustifolius - thanks Trixi
So pretty ! - hasn't flowered like this for years
and the Arum Lillies - with an Echium behind

  1. Hello Sue, you are right, it is lupinus angustitolius. This is an annual plant from southern europe. Lupinus refers to the latin word lupus (wolf). Plinius, the ancient natural scientist, compared the avidly spreading plant with a wolf.
    Best wishes, Trixi

  3. Sue your garden looks beautiful, no doubt it was very grateful for the heavy rain you had yesterday morning. Happy Holiday, I am sure there will be other surprises in your garden in bloom on your return.
