PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

A close encounter !

Thought I'd watch Scillonian III head out of the bay to see what the conditions were like - I was looking through the 'scope then I noticed an orange splodge - looking closer I realised that the Penlee Lifeboat the Ivan Ellen was alongside on her usual Sunday morning run.
The distance I'm shooting across foreshortens the distance between them (I hope !)
They then overtook SCIII, then turned around & headed back
