Afternoon walkies

As we walked past Carn Perran on our way up the hill that leads to Trenow, we spotted this wonderful sight. Several Starlings had found the lovely flowers on a very unusual Phormium
All the pollen making them look quite comical !
The first time we saw Sparrows with orange heads on Tresco we thought they were a different breed of bird !
When you see Starlings in such huge numbers as we did this last Winter, it's easy to forget what a beautiful bird they are
and these flowers on the Phormium are the prettiest I've seen - must try to get one of these !
