As we arrives back at Goring the tripper boat came past heading for the next lock
It was that kind of evening - possibly the hottest area in the country- so we had a jug of Pimms with our dinner
Very lush and green alongside the river, although the fields are starting to look very parched through lack of rain - comical isn't it - never just right - floods or drought !
Looks lovely there Sue. Love the reflections in the river.

DeleteIt has to be said (sung) OH WHAT A PERFECT DAY.
ReplyDeleteWe were thinking of you as we sat in the shade just along from the bridge watching the boats go by !
DeleteWhat lovely photos of the river. I expect the Pimms was so refreshing and welcome after a long, hot day. Dinner by the river - can't beat that.
ReplyDeleteAll the places that have tables by the river were really busy as you can imagine. Watch out for those midges though !
