Dinner at The Beetle & Wedge Boathouse Restaurant

We had always wanted to eat here, so had booked for both Monday & Wednesday evening. We had a super table looking right out over the river
All sorts of boats passed by - this smart river boat is so different to the ones we see at home !
The speed of this boat was quite amazing - as they were coached via a megaphone by the chap in the little catarmaran
King Prawn starter for Jim
Beetroot Smoked Salmon for me
Trio of Venison for Jim's main course
Sea Bream for me ! - we were pleased to see lots of Cornish fish on the menu
Meringue for me and Chocolate Pot for Jim - a really super meal - both nights.
Since it had got even hotter, we sat outside on Wednesday night, so that the dogs could be with us as it was too hot to leave them in the car.
