PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

I just had time to barbecue some nice chicken breasts before the next band of cloud arrived
The sun just disappearing behind the cloud
and it seemed to get dark rather early

    What time does it get dark there? I was guessing 9:30pm. Interested because I booked a flight and will have to drive down after landing at 2:45pm, so hate crawling around in the dark to switch the water on!

    On a clear evening I think it's about 9.30pm at the moment, but the days are getting shorter so it's a little earlier each evening. I'm usually plonking away on the PC doing the blog so I often look up and notice it's dark !
    Found this site that shows sunset for St Ives http://uk.weather.com/climate/sunRiseSunSet-St-Ives-Cornwall-TR26 Sad to see the days getting shorter so quickly, we'll have lost an hour by the end of August.
