PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

After a quick trip up the A30 to M & S in Hayle, I went into Penzance  for a couple of things and took this panorama of The Harbour

  1. The picture of Perranuthnoe huddled around the church really highlights the lichen. Easy to spot which way is north!
    So glad the weather seems to have settled down again. The beach looks lovely, but I wonder what the water temperature is? Brave souls going in without their wet suits.

  2. It's the lichen on the granite that makes Cornish villages look so beautiful.
    You know the British weather Lynn - it's raining at the moment - just a weather front passing - hopefully overnight !
    Water temp out at Sevenstones reef is 63.9f - must be a little warmer in the shallows on the beach.
