Their plants seem to be very good at a reasonable price. The Oleander is lovely don't think it would like our cold winds!Have been depodding the poppies!macca.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping the Oleander will enjoy the company of all the palms in the poolhouse over the Winter. Hate to think about cold weather !
DeleteAmazing number of seeds in each poppy hope it's going well ! Sue
Oleander used to be planted along the median of many freeways in San Diego, and was a welcome splash of colour. Median wall strenthening meant much has been ripped up. Just want to warn you that it is very poisonous if chewed, and even the smoke from it is quite toxic when burned. Someone put it on a bbq (why?), and people were very ill after eating the food.
ReplyDeleteYet another plant with a warning ! - didn't know that, fortunately no children here and Wooster doesn't nibble plants - well only grass and the occasional stick. Amazing to think it's still toxic when burned!
