A little more high cloud today, but still warm & bright all day
and the Spring Tide will soon be exposing a huge beach again
Suddenly lots of Small Tortoiseshell Butterflies around - as well as lots of bees - thank goodness that this Buddlea was rather late flowering - all the Valerian has finished
If the warm weather continues for just a little longer I think there will be a bumper crop of Blackberries - these are on our hedge - right alongside the Churchway Footpath.

  1. Just had to catch up !! lovely day on the beach at Wells...sea in the distance !! very high evening tides,no access to Brancaster beach, flooded right across the road....looking over to the marshes from the coast road it was 'Water water everywhere '! quite spectacular in the evening light.Enjoyed all your photo's(as usual)! thanks Sue.macca.

    1. Meant to tell you that all the places you mentioned in your email brought back happy memories. Especially Wells of course. We used to take the caravan to Kelling Heath for the weekend - before it was revamped I suspect. Hard to imagine the tide so high - but of course it is all very low lying land. We've never seen it like that. We just pray that the weather will be calm on these high tides as it would have done more damage to the cliffs - hardly a wave today ! Sue
