PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Afternoon walkies


This Buzzard had chosen the wrong family to annoy
They just wouldn't let it get away
As I went to wide angle one was still chasing it
This one (I think they were Rooks) just wouldn't give up
and off they went over the fields behind us still shouting at each other !

    Buzzards are bullied by even the smallest birds, aren't they? Yesterday as I sat out in my garden, enjoying the sunshine, there was scuffle by the fnce and I turned to see a young buzzard being 'seen off' by a group of about 6 or 7 sparrows. Such a racket, they made, too. He soon scarpered!

      I often feel quite sorry for the Buzzards and Kestrels as they are so hated - watched one yesterday being chased by some Swallows as you say they all make lots of noise.!
