PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.
Do hope someone uses them to make jam or jelly. I walked past the Ferry Boat Inn at Helford Passage yesterday to the cockling beach, and there were lots of sloes there which I would pick to make sloe gin if I was here long enough. Love freebies like that!
ReplyDeleteWe have seen people picking Sloes around here, but sadly I don't think anyone uses the Crab Apples - or maybe they do and I've not seem them being picked.Love the area around The Helford - so beautiful and tranquil.
