With more paying passengers on board Irene appeared, looking stunning with more sails up
But there was so little wind that she was hardly moving, so they turned and went further out of the bay to look for a little more wind
The big Lugger Ripple out for a turn round the bay
Now knoe (thanks for the info !) thaat this is the Lugger, Spirit of Mystery with its patriotic St Piran's flag for a spinnaker - she was sailed by Pete Goss and members of his family all the way to Australia following the journey of the original "Mystery"

  1. The lugger with the St.Pirans spinnaker is "The Spirit of Mystery",formerly owned by Pete Goss who with his crew sailed her to Australia .

    1. Well, you can wear your tee-shirts with pride and no one would know - you're still a Goss - it's an unusual name, he might be a vevry distant relative ! Sue
