My cousins were here from Somerset last week, and we had trouble with very persistent wasps at Roskilly's tea shop at st Keverne and also the cafe at Trelissick. Luckily, they weren't aggressive at all, but intent on landing on any sweet treat.
ReplyDeleteThey suddenly appeared from nowhere - hardly seen a Wasp all Summer. It's the children who tend to get a bit hysterical - it's such a pity when we've had so much "eating outside" kind of weather.
DeleteLots of wasps here !! I get a little OTT as I have a bad reaction to their stings...you should see me !! lots of Dragonflies over the pond today so beautiful to watch.Glad to see you didn't park Hetty on that slope at Porthleven !! lovely photo's,thanks Sue.macca.
ReplyDeleteI'm being a real coward at the moment and only parking Hetty where I have plenty of room - the mirrors are very different and judging how close is a problem - the thing beeps as though I'm very close and then when I look I've got a foot in fron of me.
DeleteLove seeing Dragonflies, we get a few hawking accross the garden, but we don't have much in the way of lying water for them around here.
