Halloween visitors

We had a visit from a handsome Pirate, Alexander
but little Witch Phoebe, found dad's mask a lot less scary than Jim & I - she took one look at us and burst into tears - Oh well !

  1. Getting ready here for the inundation tonight of spooky and scary creatures. Putting out the pumpkins, stretching out the cobwebs, and plugging in the orange pumpkin lights. We usually get quite a few children between 5 and 8pm, so the candy basket is full in anticipation. Lynn

    1. We didn't so anything over here - other than hollow out Pumpkins, until ET then it all took off. Not enough children in Perran to make a trail around the village - not that sad about that as we had trouble in Leicestershire with eggs etc. Sue

    2. I heard that there is quite a bit of mischief in England. Over all the years we have lived here - 31 yrs now - I can say that all the trick or treaters are in costume, greet us with "Trick or treat" and also very polite with the thanks afterwards. The trick part doesn't seem to come into it in our suburb. Lynn

Have had to add the word verification as I am getting lots of obscene messages in the comments
