Morning walkies

Just a quick dash up the hill & back for the dogs as were were off to the Falmouth Oyster Festival
After their late start, there are still lots of Blackberries around - but it's best not to pick them now it's October as the Witches will have p..d on them - or so I'm told !
Fine but cold day - time to get the thicker coats on !

  1. The amount off rain we have had over the last two days it must have washed 'it' off ! or blown 'it' off ! The festival looked wonderful....so did the fish and chips! We went to Rick Stein's at Padstow very good (only the fish and chip shop !) not the posh restaurant.Have you ever been ? another place to put on our list ! thanks Sue.macca.

    1. Noticed on the weather forecasts that you've been having a rough time - it's all swings and roundabouts - we didn't get all that last lovely weather having been under our blanket of fog & mist.
We have also had fish & chips from Rick Steins in Padstow - rather a disappointment - they have a fish & chip shop next to the restaurant in Falmouth - we noticed that the restaurant is doing a "Vintage Lunch" on Tuesdays - Fish Chips & Mushy Peas £4.95 - what a bargain !
