TreeWise Day !

We had eventually got round to calling the TreeWise guys to remove some branches from this Cedar Tree - viewed from the garden you can really see that it was spreading to the East and over the garden a bit too much
and the dead branches to the right of the Pine Trees were going as well !
First Rowan had to climb the tree
Then a bit at a time !
Pity about the wires - but took this through the kitchen window
Nearly gone
Taking a breather - made me smile !
Job done ! - pity about the low branch on the other tree, but I rekon that will come down in the Winter winds

  1. Good to get those jobs done before winter sets in. Your garden and lawn look lovely. Not so many flowers around now though. I love your beautiful sunset header.
Still a bit cool here, but tomorrow's forecast is for max. of 27C. It's been very hot further north. Terrible bush fires in the beautiful Blue Mountains west of Sydney. Many homes burned, but fortunately no loss of life at this stage.

  2. Hadn't heard of the bush fires Betty - they always seem to come with hot weather these days - we even had our version in UK this summer - not as bad as Australia or US though.
Still quite a lots of Butterflies around here - as you say not many flowers - although I have a couple of dwarf Buddlea that are still in flower and they don't seem to like them much !
Hope you have a lovely pleasant warm day tomorrow - not too hot ! Sue
