  1. We saw some Lapwings on the marshes near Gt. Yarmouth....not to many yet but we usually see lots during the Winter.....their shape always remind me of a Spitfire ! Beautiful sunsets again in your photo's, we had a spectacular one last night ( not quite the same as being at the coast ) but looked wonderful through the woods at the back of our garden.thanks Sue.macca.

    1. I gather we have many Lapwings on the fields close to Friendship Woods - just a little inland from us - I would think they came South from the Hayle Estuary when we had the bitter winds. I love them with their little quiff.
Colourful sunsets and sun rises are always wonderful to see I well remember one we saw when still in Leics. I was out with the dogs and stood in awe as the whole sky turned into shades of red, orange and purple - fortunantely Jim was home and took a photo and still people didn't believe us that it was that amazing !
Sadly no sun expected at all today or tomorrow - just very grey again. Sue
