Did you find out what the smoke was from? My first thought was that the new Sainsbury's was on fire.
ReplyDeleteNothing on any of the local websites - it's a bit higher up than Sainsburys which is right down at sea level. Might find out later !
DeleteNot sure what was coming out of the sky when I took the dogs down this morning - either hail or snow bobbles - but it was certainly cold and windy. Sue
"Cornish Cream" blog I follow just posted on the sudden hail with a picture of her garden at Carnon Downs. Barbara and I have a Trelissick connection, a teaching connection, and growing up in the Fal area. Yours are the two blogs I check first every day.
ReplyDeleteCarnon Downs is quite high up compared to us - bet they got much more than we did. All our showers were quite brief but heavy with the hail bouncing around.
DeleteYou and Barbara certainly have lots in common - life with the internet is amazing - allowing us to make these connections all over the world.
