To the Woods !

A damp and drizzly afternoon, so we decided to take the dogs to Godolphin Woods as a treat.
A sure sign of how mild this October has been - the Ferns alongside the stream are still green

  1. These woods look magical. Are they close to Godolphin House - the National Trust place?

  2. Yes they are just down the road from Godolphin House - the family made their money from mining and the woods are full of humps and holes - but it makes a nice change from the wild coast at the moment and the dogs really love it - didn't see any Squirrels (grey) but we met some dogs that had, so they are still around !
Really windy again today - gusts of over 50mph roaring in with sudden showers. Sue
