Patch & Acre

Wooster and Tilley needed a bag of dog food and so I timed it to coincide with todays re-opening of the old Cornwall Farmers - now Patch and Acre Country Store, due to be officially opened by Adam Henson (of Countryfile)
Just getting ready - I only had a coffe,
Real Pizza oven - hope they got busy later !
Before the crowds arrived
Harry Norton with his new Pheasant
Rather enthusiastic for a close-up shot !
One of the smallest Shetland ponies I've ever seen
Looking very festive
Any mum can sympathise with her - she just needed a rest !
All huddled up together
Couple of Geese - for sale - don't mention Christmas !

  1. What a cutesy name! I think I prefer Cornwall Farmers. However, it looks clean and bright, but not what I think of as a feed store. I think I would have had to go back for the woodfired pizza as it definitely is a step above others.

    1. I think the idea is that non farming folk might not realise that they are welcome in there - pity it's in a tricky spot to get to - only just off the A30, but down a narrow lane and of course I then have to get across the Aso to get home again - not easy in the Summer. Still hope they do well as it's a very useful store.

  2. The access is the main thing that puts me off sue - a nightmare to turn right to go home
