Where we shared a Turkey & Cranberry Panini (should have had some cheese, bu I don't eat cheese) and I have to admit we followed that with cake and clotted cream - very naughty !
As in our garden the Schizostylis were still in full flower
This sneaky Pheasant like to potter around under the bird feeders
This one is for Kathy & Terry - sadly they don't seem to update their website, so some people might arrive and be disappointed - which if we had not visited before Christmas would have been us !
Thank you Sue, we nearly got caught out last week, but thankfully thought to ring them first. We are going there for their Christmas lunch on Thursday next week, hoping it will be a nice sunny day and the tide in, but knowing our luck neither of those will bless us. We find it very relaxing there and not too far for us to travel when we have just a couple of hours to ourselves. Fingers crossed Tilly will feel better very soon on her special diet and medication.
ReplyDeleteI looked at the Old Vicarage website and they have nothing since 2012 and broken links - really silly as people tend to check online. Pleased that you didn't get caught out. There was a group of ladies having the full lunch - it smelled and looked superb - don't wear anything too tight he he !
DeleteRather comically I'd been treating Tilly with all sorts of herbal and remedies and she was already seeming to be over the worst before we had the tablets from the Vet - she's quite perky and I actually dared to leave them alone in the lounge last night and she was fine. Here's hoping that she stays that way as my Bissell carpet cleaner has blown up !
