Without any proper internet connection all day yesterday - we sat in the lounge and watched as this lot came over - torrential rain and powerful winds battering the poor Christmas tree - it was still standing this morning, although at a jaunty angle - we've just tied it up again.
This was the rain as it passed over us yesterday - with something similar expected tomorrow !

  1. I like your new header! I won't bore you with my horrible journey, but suffice it to say Avis sent me off in a car that needed AA about 40 mins after I'd driven off, and that set the tone for the whole trip. I backed out of making it to Cornwall that night, and stayed in Somerset. However, I am glad to be here and looking forward to everyone joining me -in spite of the weather! Hope we will get some walks in.

    1. Not a great start to your holiday break - do hope it improves - forgot to ask if the Calendars had arrived safely !
The next few days are not looking good - sunshine tomorrow, but still very windy.
Presume you've got all the shopping to do for your guests - eek !
