  1. I bet they really enjoyed that. Sorry to hear that more heavy rain is expected. Please send some our way soon, but at least our humidity has climbed up from single digits and we actually had a foggy night on Wednesday.

    1. The really heavy rain came overnight - as it was from the West, we didn't really hear much - since we face South - but this morning everywhere was really running with water - more expected on Sunday. One of the councils in Somerset has declared a major incident - in order to hopefully then get more help as the water is risding due to the rain - rather than receeding..
Saw an article in the Daily Mail with lots of photos showing your drought and the reservoirs drying out etc. must be worrying ! Do you have water restrictions in place like we do here - hosepipe bans etc ?

    2. No restrictions yet, but will surely happen soon. The last time we had them, the Metropolitan Water District lost lots of money as everyone complied so well, so water bills were drastically reduced. This puts them in a quandry - lose money or institute mandatory water restrictions.

Have had to add the word verification as I am getting lots of obscene messages in the comments
