Penrose Estate

Since it was quite a fine day - and the forecast isn't good, we decided to try to make our way to the Penrose Walk - the usual and most direct route is closed for three months whilst Cormac try to re-build the road in a steep valley close to the Penrose Estate. We zig zagged around missed a turning (my fault !) found that the selected route was flooded - turned around and eventually came around upper Porthleven and arrived in the Car Park.  Lots of people  were there enjoying the shelter from the wind and lack of mud !

Makes a nice change from bare fields and Cauliflowers !
The tropical garden - just outside the walled garden
