We've visited The Watering Hole on the beach at Perranporth several times and wonded how it had faired during the recent storms
Here's how it was then - sitting on a nice hump of sand - which kept the high tides at bay !
Here it is today - it has survived the onslaught of the storms and tidal surges - but it now stands on what appears to be a sand cliff - parts of lower Perranporth sadly suffered from serious floodingPleased it survived - it's a super spot - at the quieter times in the season - I'm sure it's heaving during the high season - Photos from their website!
Glad the Watering hole escaped relatively unscathed after the 2014 storm but sad to see the extent of the storm damage as the changes look extreme. What are the plans with the beach? .
