Carbis Bay from above
Crossing the railway bridge that is high above the sea
I had wondered if Wooster and Tilly would tackle these steep open stairs, but they both went running up and down with no problem at all
Arriving back at Carbis Bay with the swollen stream having carved a valley through the sand - making it tricky to get to the other side of the beach
Thank you so much for all these photos of the walk between Carbis Bay and St Ives. We do this walk every time we come to St Ives and have lunch at the Carbis Bay Hotel. It's interesting to see how everything is coping through this awful weather. We love the turnstones that frequent Lambeth Walk but have never seen a loon despite being in St Ives at New Year a couple of years ago. I'm glad your dogs are now able to cope with the steps without flinching :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, so enjoyed the pics of your walk. We love to go from St Uny church to Carbis Bay. I look at the webcam of Carbis Bay every day and love to see the weather and sea conditions changing. Can't wait to get down again at the end of March! Jane.
