Sunday Morning walkies

It was a nice sunny morning  so we decided to take the dogs a little further and we zig zagged around the footpaths as we headed out towards Marazion Cemetery.
Spotted the RNLI Penlee Lifeboat the Ivan Ellen on her way back to Newlyn after the usual Sunday morning training run.
Jim climbed up onto the top of a wall to take this shot
Unfortunately Wooster went up with him - taking his "treasure" which was a torn tennis ball that he had found - he then dropped it down the other side of the wall and couldn't get it, but didn't want to leave it - he really took some persuading to come down and carry on !

  2. Wooster soon forgot about his ball. Only one walk in the woods for them today it really was very wild and wet - we were lucky to get them out into the garden at all. Went and scattered some bird seed & sunflower seeds amongst the plants under the feeder as I could see there were loads of little birds under there in the shelter - all the sunflower seeds had been shaken out of the feeder by the wind - must be terrible for them.
Justy watched the video on SWC and looked at the photos it really has been a brutal Winter - just like the first year we came to Perranuthnoe - we though it would never end and we'd have real damage to the house. There's been lots of damage to harbours - both on Scilly and the mainland - I suppose they can only take so much ! More wind and rain coming in tomorrow night and again at the weekend - but at least the tides are reducing in height now.
