Took a photo of the two lifeboats returning from their usual Sunday run out - it was lousy, but I sat here with a good program on TV messing about with Photoshop and it sort of turned into an oil painting.

  1. I like that effect. I saw some photos like that on Instagram too. Pray tell what was the good programme on TV? It may make its way here. We are still watching Downton Abbey here, and the 3rd series of Sherlock has been on, but it is pretty much all we do watch apart from news and the American Antique Roadshow.

    1. We had recorded several episodes of a detective program called DI Banks - not a great one, but quite good and certainly a lot better than the programs they put on at the weekends in the daytime. We don't watch 2 parters until we have both parts as Jim can never remember the story if we have to wait a week lol.
