PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.
Very nice picture of the church and churchyard. I wonder if the St. Pirans flag is flown on other occasions.
ReplyDeleteCatching up !! been away for a few days....super pictures...as usual !! enjoyed seeing Cornwall's answer to 'Seahenge' ! at least it's being left alone !! thanks Sue macca.
ReplyDeleteI've seen the St Piran's flag flown in May Betty, but although I did a search, couldn't find why - they do of course fly St Georges flag on St Georges Day and the Union Jack on other important days. Quite a few of the local boats fly the St Piran's flag at all times and at any Feast or Festival time everything is black and white ! Sue
ReplyDeleteVery similar to Brittany and the Bretagne flag in colour though there is the ermine canton as well. I'll have to wear my Cornish earrings (cross of St Pirran) on Wednesday.
