Afternoon quick walkies

Jim thought there was a gap in the rain that was long enough for him to take the dogs for a quick run - as you can see it was back to Winter coats again - they just got back before the next lot arrived
It wasn't looking good as they went up the hill
and Jim hadn't noticed that the rain was now coming from the West instead of  South West
But they just got back before the next lot.
I took a couple of shots of Cudden Point - as you can see the wind was still pushing the waves up onto the rocks
Just hope it's calmed down by tomorrow for all the passengers on Scillonian III
I was thinking the other day that the Arum Lillies ought to be in flower - the original big clump show no sign of a flower, but this smaller clump have managed it.
and the Phormiums are having a much better year than last year

  1. Garden looks good Sue, I am still waiting for my Arum Lily to flower, no signs of any yet. We are in Hampshire at the moment and the roses up here are blooming beautifully. Great photo's as always, weather looks better for tomorrow and our journey home.

  2. I was chatting to another lady in the village still waiting for her Arums to show any sign of blooming, so it's obviously something about the weather this year.
Fancy Hampshire being ahead of Cornwall - forecast is just a few showers as well as sunshine this week, but cold again atthe end of the week - frost is forecast ! Safe journey home ! Sue
