Amazingly flat calm sea this morning - here is the Mopus flashing buoy - not often we see it that clearly
The lovely Irene having to use her engine to cross Mount's Bay from Newlyn this morning
HMS Mersey - River-Class Offshore Patrol Vessel, out in the grey this morning

It looks so calm there and the sea is like glass. We on the other hand have strong Santa Ana winds coming off the California desert which is bringing high winds, broken trees, a very messy pool and high temps of 92 deg F. Should quiet down around noon, hopefully.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to have some calm weather for a change. Have heard of the Santa Ana's - hope there are no fire-starters around. Sounds much too hot to me ! Sue
DeleteIt is too hot for me too, and it affects the sinuses as well. The winds are not strong today, burt I smell smoke in the air - Santa Anas often bring out the arsonists.
