How unusual, very beautiful, once again I have to say Mother nature is always surprising us. Thank you
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing pinkish ones on Scilly in the past - this one is a beauty ! Sue
DeleteIt really is lovely,we had never seen one until we went to Scilly....just couldn't believe how tall they grow ! thanks Sue for bringing Cornwall to us every day {whatever the weather !! ) macca
ReplyDeleteComing from the Midlands I had never seen one before Scilly. Ours in the garden take 3 years to flower, so it's a real test of survival to go through two Winters. Over on Scilly I gather they tend to flower the second year. Some of ours got blown down in their first Winter and then made mutiple sprouts which are just flowering - just smaller than normal ! Rather a wet and miserable day so far - might brighten up later ! Sue
