Down in the Courtyard

The various Palms & Ferns in the courtyard have all had a trim recently - gardner Robert did a super job on the sharp stems of the big Canariensis, and Jim trimmed the old leaves off the Tree Ferns -
revealing the wonderful curly new fronds
The trunks are looking surprisingly dry - must hose them down

  1. WOW. A tropical haven. Looks super duper. A Wonderful time of the year now, everything bursting into bud & flower, birds singing their little heats out and busy nesting, and your sunset is amazing. Will restrain myself from commenting on the Council notices in your village. Does one of them mean if we parked for an hour we would still have to pay £4.??
Thankyou once again Sue for posting such wonderful photo's.

    1. I think he still operates the £1 for an hour during the early and late season - whether they'll do that in the main holiday season I've no idea. Noticed that the piece on his notice that states the £1.00 per hour is removable ! Grrr !
