The Godolphin Hotel

Having been closed all Winter for major renovations we thought we'd like to see the results - The Terrace with such a wonderful view was looking great, but this section was a bit breezy today.
so we went out onto this section which had some glass screens to keep the wind off. These huge Bi-fold doors will hopefully be open in the Summer
and they are repeated on the upper level
In through the front door
Beautiful wood everywhere
This is the upper level that is just a few steps up from the pavement
Then down the beautiful wood and glass staircase to the terrace level
Not sure what this area was for, but they had some nice looking cakes on the counter !

  1. So tell us, Sue, did you sample anything while you were there?

    1. Jim and I shared a chicken and ham toasted club sandwich - we're trying to keep off the naughty treats - too many recently - hence the reason we walked straight home - If we'd walked along the coast I might not have made it past the Peppercorm Kitchen Cafe !
