Morning walkies
My turn to take the dogs for their morning walkies, so we walked through the village heading for Boat Cove Lane. The Wisteria at Church Farmhouse was still looking super
as usual there were other very unusual flowers looking very pretty
Not sure Sue but we bought some bulbs when we first went to 'Scilly'and they are in bloom now and I think they are Sparaxis.Lovely photo's again, don't think are little wren survived the winter....no sight no sound...do miss that lovely song.Mind you we have our own Springwatch this morning,Partridges,Pheasants lots of tits and finches greedy starlings nesting blackbirds and my friendly little robin (damn a magpie has arrved and there is a jay in th apple tree) who needs Chris Packham ?......and a big brown rabbit......watch the seeds !!! thanks Sue so enjoy your photo's.macca
We were pleasantly surprised to see that our little Wren had survived the Winter - haven't seen a Robin in the garden for a while - Magpies everywhere and darned gulls trying to nest on the roof again. Hopefully the seeds will start to show themselves soon. I think you are right about the Sparaxis - this is a garden full of old fashioned plants often from other countries as the owners travelled a lot ! Misty again this morning - just seen SCIII making her way over to Scilly with spectators for the gig racing. Sue
