The superbly renovated Old Vicarage - with I assume the new part to the right
Just love the curves on the glass patio doors - made in Israel
The lawn & garden were looking good
Pretty Iris by the pond
I've tried to grow these Echinops (thanks Kathy !) but without much success
Re plant, Echinops (globe thistle) beautiful plant, have another go Sue at growing them, every garden should have at least one;-)) Great photo's of the river and wildlife, we try to make weekly visit there.
ReplyDeleteDid have a good look round to make sure you weren't there !
DeleteDidn't think I'd got the plant right - to tired - Truro is exhausting on a hot day - not used to all the noise and people ! Had to come home and order most of what I wanted online anyway he he ! Amazing to think that I used to shop in the first Dunelm Mill in Leicester and now they're all the way down here !
Will have to give the Echinops another go - need one that isn't too tall, or it will get blown over ! Sue
I took photos of exactly the same flower at Charles Darwin's home the other week and thought I'd like to have a go at growing them. Didn't have a clue what they were called though so you have helped me. Thanks.
