Looking at the village from Cudden Point
A closer look at the beach
Mount's Bay from Cudden Point to Penzance
The footpath  goes along a field below Acton Castle
The old and the new footpath from Cudden Point. The new one was cut through the Gorse due to the slips on the coast. It is rather steep and a bit tricky to walk on, but much better than the long detour that had to be put in place previously.

  1. Thank you for sharing your wonderful photos. This is so spooky as my daughter is visiting this weekend and all of these places are on her "wish list" to re-visit. How long did this walk take you? Or would I be best advised to await her with a lovelly lunch in the Cafe! Kathy P.

    1. The walk we did is quicker than using the coastal path both ways - we started at 11.05 and our food was on the table at around 14.15 so it was around 3 hours. We don't walk like some where it's like a route march and we stop to take photos as well. We stopped for around 10 minutes to feed the dogs up on Cudden Point. Do you know the inland route ? If not I have a version I could email you as we put it in the info. at Oamaru.
Hope you have a super weekend with your daughter wherever you go ! Sue
