  1. So nice to see the sun and those little clouds in your first picture. I hate to raise it, but have the weather service mentioned the hurricane that veered away from Northeast America? I just wonder if it will bring some windy and wet weather to south west England and Ireland, or whether it will just pass by to the northern Atlantic.
We finally have had a break from the hot and humid air that has made sleeping so unpleasant for several weeks. However the dry heat just crisps up the garden and with water restrictions, gardening seems like a waste of time. I just cannot get enough of looking at all that green grass in your photos.

    1. Yes, ex-hurricane Bertha is much mentioned - not sure which route it will follow yet - forecasts are changing all the time as they are estimates, Might go South of us or North of us - no way of knowing just yet. Been a pretty good week here - although there's been rain at night which the campers are not happy about.
I was thinking about how lovely all the green is as I walked the dogs - so good to see after all the long months of brown bare branches & fields. Don't envy you the heat - it's a bit cooler at night now, although we still have the windows open in the bedroom.
