In the garden
My delivery arrived, but it was too late for me to join Jim & the dogs, so I took a walk around the garden, which seems to be enjoying the cooler moist air we have now.
One of three of these poppies seeded into the gravel
We have lots of these Crinum Lillies, but they fall over very easily in wind or rain
One of the perennial Fuchsias that always do well along the sunny wall
Your garden plants look very healthy, fingers crossed they will continue to flower for a few more weeks yet, hate the thought that we are half way through August, even feels chilly tonight.;-((
It always sounds horrible when they start talking about it being Autumnal and the nights are definitely closing in a bit each day - and of course I can see the sunsets again. We don't have any large areas of colour in the garden - the Hydrangeas have not lasted well due to the extreme conditions. Think we need to try to split the huge clump of Agapanthus since they've only managed 3 flowers this year wheras the newer smaller on has had about 6.
