A day out at the other Perran Sands

Comically the beach at Perranporth is called Perran Sands - the same as our Beach - it's just a little different !.
We had needed  to go to The Range on the outskirts of Truro, so we then drove the few miles to the North Coast and Perranporth
The great survivor - The beach bar The Watering Hole - possibly the only one in the UK that is right down on the beach.
There it was after the great storms of 2014 teetering on the edge of a sand cliff - but it managed to stay intact.
The RNLI Lifeguards still on duty and it's a huge beach to keep an eye on
The new bridge over the little river - the old one was damaged in the Winter storms
Amazing that in late September the beach car park was full when we arrived and we had to drive up to the one at the top - mind you it was a wonderful view
The beach is very flat and rather squishy in places - had a job to stop Wooster drinking from the pools
Really is a massive beach - no idea why there are no photos of Wooster and Tilly - they must have been off having a good time !
