Sadly it had gradually dropped all of it's leaves and Jim had cut it down - it might sprout again from the bottom of the trunk

When I got back from my stroll up to Trebarvah I noticed an empty space in the garden
Remember this poor little Palm Tree that was blown over in 2012 and has been propped up ever since - apart from when it went over again in the Winter storms this year.
Sadly it had gradually dropped all of it's leaves and Jim had cut it down - it might sprout again from the bottom of the trunk

ReplyDeleteUntil I looked back at the old palm photo I'd forgotten just how big and top-heavy it was. will be better to sprout from the bottom.
DeleteBet Glendurgan was looking super - have only seen photos - and been next door to Trebah of course - as they don't allow dogs.
Been sorting some hopeful photos out for the calendar - not an easy task - too many ! Sue
Poor old palm, but I bet it comes back twice as good. :)
